Yes I agree. My auntie left Brisbane to go and study in the UK and she was very shy at first but then she had to talk to make friends and in the end she met a Scottish man and they got married and went to live in Scotland where they now have two children and I think it was being forced to communicate when she went on that BIG journey to study in England that helped her change.

I don't agree! People never change! They might learn to deal with stuff differently, like when you grow up and you learn to be more careful what you say - but you are still the same person you were made as. I think your auntie is still shy but she just had to learn to act not shy to cope abroad. So I disagree with this statement.
